Wow, wonderful job, Leif! I've just browsed through the links and sublinks on your updated site and I'm amazed at all your beautiful examples. I've used Pynomo before to create nomograms, but never for the variety of compound nomograms that you describe on your site. I'm really impressed with the care you've taken in documenting your software. The new documentation is quite detailed---for new visitors, after you click on the Software Documentation link, click on the link for a particular type of nomogram to see a detailed example and a description of all possible parameters for creating one of that type. Excellent.

Thanks for all your work on this, Leif. I'm excited about trying out your new release.

Agreed! Your website has become far more sophisticated. And PyNomo has become far more powerful.

Dear Leif:
Can you help me with a tutorial on how to install the Pynomo and the python 2.6 programs? I am a windows user and I am not used to this kind of codes.
Thank you.

Dear Ezra,

I wrote a little more detailed instructions for prerequisites for Windows installation. See: http://pynomo.org/wiki/index.php?title=Detailed_installation_of_prerequisites_for_Windows.

I have downloaded and installed this release on Windows running Vista.

The system works admirably well. I was able to recreate a hand-crafted nomograph of my own in about 30 minutes once the release and all its prerequisites were installed.

This is an excellent piece of software. I have only begun to scratch the surface of its capabilities, but so far the results have been impressive.

Thanks.

Thanks to Joe, I was able to publish his detailed recipe to install PyNomo and needed packages for Windows Vista! I think the recipe also works for XP.
See:http://pynomo.org/wiki/index.php?title=Windows_Vista_installation

Thanks!
